Once a citation is entered into eICMS, courts are able to effectively respond to questions and requests from the public as well as to greatly reduce the chances of misfiled or lost citations. The application produces hard copy warrants, transfer warrants or warrant recalls electronically. Electronic warrant processing provides a highly efficient and timely means to perform a previously laborious manual task.

Automated records relating to minor offenses are retained and a complete register of actions can be retrieved on any terminal or hardcopy printer, providing court personnel with immediate access to case activity without handling the case file or original citation.
